Flat packing of slabs
With flat packaging, slabs are stacked layer by layer on a pallet. This allows the slabs to be directly laid into a pattern, making it easy to lift them with a clamp or vacuum for mechanical paving in the street.
The input of pallets is automated using a robot and centering mechanism.

Slabs are stacked on a pallet using a robot with a clamp or vacuum tool. An protection film can be automatically applied between the different layers.

The completed packages are transported via the packaging conveyor outside the production hall.

The stacking crane removes packages from the packet conveyor and places them in intermediate storage or onto lorries. From there, the packages can be transported to a storage area using forklifts. The advantage of using lorries loaded with multiple packages is that fewer transport movements are required.
